Career Outline:
Gaelle's designs have been extensively seen in Adelaide's theatre for the past ten years.
Major design credits includes "Riders to the Sea" and "Mahagonny Songspiel" for State Opera; "Spooltime" and "Whispering Demons" for Vitalstatistix; and Junction Theatre's "Wild Rice" and "Risky".
Her simple and effective designs have been the aesthetic backbone for the acclaimed Restless Dance Company, where she has designed all their shows to date, including their tour of "Precious" to the Sydney Paralympic Games Cultural Festival.
Gaelle's work with Adelaide youth theatre company Urban Myth has included "Puberty Blues", "Dream Cafe" and their public performance troupe "Serious Young Aliens", which debuted at the 1996 Adelaide Festival.
Gaelle was resident designer for comeout01, and this year she has designed "Birdbrain" for ADT, "Jennifer in Security" for Vitalstatistix, and "Killer Joe", her second commission for Brink Productions. |
